Official Refund & Cancellation Policy
This policy outlines the explicit terms, procedural deadlines, and non-refundable statutory deductions governing cancellation requests and refunds with DOT Driver Certification LLC.
NON-AFFILIATION WITH UNIFIED CARRIER REGISTRATION PLAN
This website is not affiliated with the Unified Carrier Registration Plan. This website is operated by a private company that provides a private registration service for an additional fee. You are not required to use this site to register with the UCR Plan. You may register directly with the UCR Plan at http://www.ucr.gov.
1 Three (3) Day Cancellation Eligibility
Customers who submit an annual Unified Carrier Registration filing order through DOT Driver Certification LLC may cancel their request within three (3) calendar days (72 hours) of initial payment, subject to a formal written request received through our official contact channels.
Due to the automated nature of interstate regulatory compliance audits and immediate government filing queue commitments, any refund request received on or after calendar day four (Day 4) following transaction settlement cannot be approved or processed under any circumstances.
2 Statutory Government Filing Fee Remittance
Our total filing charge encompasses mandatory federal/state statutory fees remitted to official government agencies (e.g., UCR.gov and base state registries) plus our private preparation and administrative audit fees.
Critical Non-Refundable Statutory Rule: If our compliance processing specialists have already audited, verified, and remitted your mandatory registration fees to the Unified Carrier Registration Plan Board or your base state registry prior to receipt of your 3-day cancellation request:
- The official government registration fee paid to the UCR Plan Board is strictly non-refundable by federal statute; and
- The exact statutory fee disbursed to the government authority will be deducted from your total refund amount. Only the remaining eligible private administrative fee component may be settled.
3 Qualifying Scenarios Breakdown
To ensure full transparency, the following scenarios govern refund eligibility:
- Cancellation within 3 days BEFORE Government Submission: Eligible for refund of the administrative service fee, minus any non-reimbursable payment gateway interchange charges.
- Cancellation within 3 days AFTER Government Submission: Government fees remitted to UCR.gov cannot be returned. Eligible for a partial refund covering our private processing fee only.
- Requests Submitted AFTER 3 Calendar Days: Strictly non-refundable. All filing commitments, database synchronizations, and certificate verifications are final.
- Duplicate Filings: If you inadvertently submitted duplicate filings through our service for the same USDOT number within the same registration year, our staff will review and cancel the duplicate charge within the 3-day window.
4 How to Submit an Authorized Refund Request
To ensure your request is logged and processed prior to the expiration of the 72-hour cutoff, follow this three-step procedure:

5 Refund Settlement & Banking Timelines
Once a cancellation request is formally verified and approved by our compliance supervisor:
- Refund credits are issued exclusively back to the original credit, debit, or corporate card used during checkout.
- Settlement credit typically reflects in your merchant banking account within 3 to 10 business days, depending on your card issuer's clearing policies.
- A digital cancellation voucher and revised invoice receipt will be delivered to your registered corporate email address.
6 Pre-Dispute Resolution & Chargebacks
DOT Driver Certification LLC values fair and transparent business practices. Before contacting your credit card company or banking institution to initiate a chargeback or payment dispute, Customer expressly agrees to communicate directly with our billing division to achieve resolution.
Initiating a fraudulent or unilateral chargeback for an order placed in accordance with our Terms of Service constitutes a breach of contract and may result in immediate suspension of compliance certificate validation, referral to collections, and reporting of non-payment to relevant credit bureaus.
Governing Law: All fee transactions, cancellation audits, and refund determinations are governed by and construed in accordance with the substantive laws of the State of Wyoming, United States.
